Not only is forum member Roger Rettig a super steeler, he evidently can play golf, too.
I knew he loved the game, but a hole-in-one is really special. Congratulations Roger.

Wow, Dean - thanks! How did you know???
I hit a very hard sand-iron with lots of spin, but it was all wasted because the ball came down vertically and hit the hole and the flag-stick at the same time. A slam-dunk, I believe it's called.
I've won $300 from the Men's Association at my club, so that's okay.
That's my third one ever - the first was Rickmansworth GC (outside London) in 1978, the second here in Naples (March, '06) and now this one.
What shall I buy with the money? _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles and Martins - and, at last, a Gibson Super 400!

How about spending it for a nice pair of pickin shoes so you won't have to play bare footed...?
I know you love the game of golf,if only you could play that, as good as you play that Emmons...

Roger, stop using those magnetic golf balls. They're illegal in all civilized countries. |

I tried using magnetic golf balls once, but like a typical steel player, they were reverse polarity!! _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |
