Wally, it may be hard to get anybody to turn loose of one of the Hybrids. I'm east of you a ways, but if you'd like to drive out here I have a SD-10 that I got new just before Christmas. You're welcome to come test drive it. It's Emmons on the floor with Franklin pedal in 4 and semi ShoBud on the knees with E's lowering on RL and raising on LL. Or better yet, we'll be having another West Texas Steel Guitar assn. jam probably in June in Merkle, Tx. We'd love to have some of you Lubbock area pickers come out and jam with us. Watch the Events and Announcements and if you'll let me know, I'll be sure and bring the Hybrid. We have everything from rank amatures like me, to pros like Bobby Tuttle playing.

Hey Danny,

Thats my setup exactly... Do you have a small airport there? If so I may take you up on that, I would love to play one! I tried to order one in Dallas but the lady at Bruce's booth said that they aren't taking orders now... Bruce told me two years ago I needed to do it but looks like I may have waited too long.. I think that they are by far the best sounding guitars I'v heard... I had Bruce build one back in the 80's, it played like a dream but I missed the Emmons tone so went back....

Thanks man

When I first heard about the Zum Hybrid, I ordered one.
It took a while to get it but I'm glad that I put my order in when I did. Very Happy

Wally, I sent you an email. Every now and then a Hybrid will come up for sale, but you almost have to be setting at your computer when it comes on to get to them quick enough.

Danny you and Wally have pretty close to my set up as well. I run across more and more people that play that way lately.
Here's mine,
