Do most tune with pedals down when using the flip strobe. In other words tune all strings to SE9 with pedals down then tune the pulls to mach the cabinet drop or just use the SE9 pedals up and then tune the pulls? |

for starters : just use the SE9 pedals up and then tune the pulls & see just how it sounds to you Robert
but if you have to investigate the phenomena, get ready for a good ride |

i just find that like last night same place same players i had to tune 440 with cab drop comp to sound corect to me. the only thing different was i set my amp in front of me to get mor volume with less pain. |

I tune pedals up but I drop the whole newman preset down 1.3 cents. E's at 9.8 cents sharp was a little too much for me, so I began searching around and that's what sounds best to me in most situations. Even when using a Peterson tuner you should check your tuning while playing with the bar in different positions. |

Try the 0E9 with pedals down.
This is E at zero
I think SE9 is for pedals up ...
with Es sharp _________________ MSA 12 String E9th/B6th Universal.
