The brand name in the headstock is Aslin Dane. The Aslin Dane company was founded by 2 guitar players who wanted to have high quality guitars made in Korea and import them. They succeeded in having some fine guitars made, but they failed as businessmen, and within a year or 2 the company was sold to people who commissioned the Korean factory to build less expensive guitars of lessor quality. This one was made when the two guitar players owned the company.
As you can see, the neck heel is a different design from Gibson's. It's actually an improvement, and makes for easier access to the upper frets. The fretboard is made out of a wood and resin compound called phenolic It looks and feels like ebony, but has no dead spots. The guitar has been retrofitted with an Earvana intonated nut, so every note plays in tune.
The guitar also has been retrofitted with straplocks, and comes with a matching red strap.
As pictured, it comes with a form fitting hard shell case.
