Hi
I been away for quite some time but now almost back.

Last November I had a stroke..
May leg's and arm's are fine, but I lost brain power
It's speech, reading typing and music
went out the window, for a few week I could not talk to the family,
my boys had a sheet of paper with words which we use every day, hoping I could read it..
I could not go out on my own,I could not answer the phone. It was like starting out all over I agane
if you notice some spelling mistakes, you know what it is..
All music got lost, I had forgotten all that I knew on the keyboard,
I was learning theory for music from diffrent books, all that went..
At that time was when I got my steel altho I hadent lost a lot with it being new altho what I had learned was gone..also playing the C6 was gone..
It was hard work
and the typing is comming along fine.
my speech is not much better, it seems like staring over again,
My steel is comming along
I can play a few songs, the keyboard I havent started to read music but that will come later together with the c6
regards Paul uk

Paul, From not being able to talk, to typing out that long message, I would say you have come a long way.
Experts tell us that music is some of the best therapy there is. Keep up the playing and you'll see it helps you improve.
Did you have a chance to try the pickup I sent you?
Good luck my friend and speedy recovery!!
