And now for something completely different....
Lead on the Steelocaster tuned to B11 and on a normal stratocaster in an electronica/new age setting provided by Gary Taylor and Trevor Spencer. To get a brighter sound on some verses I used a plectrum instead of picks on the lap steel. Key of C
Equinoxe is widely regarded as a classic within electronica/ new age music. The album Équinoxe was a major label album release by French musician Jean-Michel Jarre in late 1978. The album reflects in 8 parts a day in the life of a human being, from morning to night. Jarre had developed his sound employing more dynamic and rhythmic elements and particularly a greater use of sequencing on basslines.
Hank Marvin and The Shadows recorded it in their unique style. In 1988, Marvin collaborated with Jean Michel Jarre on the track "London Kid", which appeared on Jarre's "Revolutions" album and took a guest role in the giant Destination Docklands concert at the Royal Victoria Dock. Jarre stated that the Shadows' success had a huge influence on him. Here is a "steelocaster" steel guitar playing the main lead, accompanied by a stratocaster.

Hi Das,I missed this when you first posted it ,I love it,nice to hear a different approach.
I saw you play in Hawaii a couple of years ago 2009 I think at the Golf club I think and loved your playing,I wish I had come up and had a chat ,but we had just got in and it was all a bit overwhelming especially when Loreme Ruymar came up and introduced herself.
