Some info :
This is what we know about this picture. Can you add to this or make corrections . . . .
Hi there Everyone
No info with this one, looking at the the signage " Dandies Toy Centre" was in the original Centerpoint Arcade,
70's & early 80's, it would be Country Music time I guess.

Well Michel got the era right
Pedal Steel is Winston Black
Guitar is Dallas Southam (Southern - not sure of the spelling)
Bass is Norm Drage
Drummer ??
Vocalist ??
The name of their band escapes me but Norm had it going for quite some time. His Gibson bass was legendary according to him . Win plays a keyless Anapeg now and Dallas is a brilliant guitarist and Pedal Steel Player too.
These guys are (were) all Brisbane based. Norm's son played drums in my H4L band way back then.

Well done Jim, I was thinking Winnie given the posture etc. I know Buck (Ked) played with Winston on aoccasions. I will see Winnie this weekend and ask him as well. Look forward to seeing you at Brissy and sit in on your workshop. Jim, Is your Son coming? - he is one hot guitarist. Are you linking up with Harry Waldon? Heard you may be bringing him down?

all the best
Jeff

Hi Brendan. Spoke with Buck (Ked) and he remembers this. It's definately not him as singer but the drummer could be Gordan Burnett and he thinks it was a band called 'Images'. He was not sure about the singer. They had a guitarist Barry Clough but Buck said that the person in this pic looks a lttle young for him. Jim is right, it was definately Winston on steel and Norm. I will chat with Winnie next weekend at our club meet if he is there.
Cheers
Jeff

Yep! The images that was the band name - I remember it well once reminded ! They did a lot of pub work around Bris and were involved with the Northern Suburbs county music club doing backup work etc. The pic looks like they could have been in Tamworth at some stage probably during the January week when a lot of us used to get there.

The gutarist (then - in the pic) was definitely Dallas.
He has put a few kilos on since then - haven't we all !
He plays steel with John McSweeney at times. I think he has an MSA 2x10 (I may have the brand wrong).
