American Standard body that I bought new and sent to Forrest Lee Jr for a Parsons/White style, long throw bender.
Body info:
Official American Standard Fender Telecaster Body- Premium Alder- 5 lbs, 6 oz- Thinner Undercoat Finish- Micro-Tilt Adjustment- Genuine Fender
Color: Blizzard Pearl Color is much like a pearl paint, see the lower bout for a closer look. Lots of metallic in the paint, I suspect. Not so much white, but a bit more of a warm white look. Color is Blizzard pearl.
American neck, a few years older than the body and excellent
Custom B Bender cover from WD Guitar
Fender Samarian Cobalt Noiseless, 4-way Baja Switching
6 way bridge was used, but nice, shows a little wear on the chrome (a spot where the finger might rest)
Two small dings in the lower bout, hard to see in the picture and very small. Finish is intact and fine
Brand new G&L case, just arrived yesterday.
Plays and sounds great. Got to thin the herd a bit and I only have a few hours on this guitar. Seems like I always go back to my old 1983 Tele.
I just want to get my cost out of it. $1249.00 and I will pay the shipping to the lower 48. PayPal OK, no e-checks. 3.2 percent PayPal fees. I will take a money order and save you the fees!

| NICE guitar and great price. I'll bet that would sound good thru my FOX amp...(shameless plug) Unfortunately, I have a bender, and it's "that" time of year anyway. It should sell quickly tho',as benders are gettin' a little on the rare side..... |

It is a killer tone and player for sure. However this year I need to thin a bit, I have:
1970 ES335 (which I will always keep)
1970 Guild Blues Bird Bass (anohter keeper)
1992 Paisley Tele (Japanese, belong to Ruth)
1983 Tele (my old standby)
2000's era Tele custom with Bigsby)
Ovation Preacher Deluxe
Like new Strat American Deluxe with SCN pickups
J45/50 Gibson
Old 1960's era Epiphone Newport bass that I refurbished
All but the 1983 Tele just sit in the music room unplayed! |
