Actually, John, when you ditto something, you don't really have to spell the whole thing out. That's kinda the point... Wink

Special thanks to Andy for all the hard work he put in to make this a super show. Wife and I were so impressed by all the local steelers and the fine job the house band did in backing everyone up. Sure am looking forward to next years show.

I would like to have attended this event, but have work on Saturday to 1:00, and had a gig Saturday night. Maybe next year... How about some pictures here on this thread along with a full report. Thanks for your consideration.

Hi everyone,
let me start out to say what a great time I had. People said that they liked the place and how easy it was to find. There were some great pickers as well. Are swap area wasn't to shabby either. I found a nice BJS bar for myself at a good price. I was hoping someone came through the door with a laquer D10 Emmons. Although a nice S10 made it along with 7 or 8 more steels for sale. Had alot of interest in my Webb Amps. They sounded Great. If you didn't make it this year you truly missed a good time. Last, I would like to thank my band who gave their time for me. Thank you all! Lets see what next year brings. Stay Tuned. Cool Andy

Andy,
I applaud you for your efforts on the success of the show! I had a great time meeting new faces and catching up with some old friends. The backup band was the tops and I really enjoyed listening to some steel players, that, I never heard before. All top notch, I might add. It was a hoot!
BTW- John, I got a big kick out of doing "our duet".
You're a great steel player and it was an honor
to share the stage with you

Here is a shot of the main players area...

Starting from the left is John Demaile - Vice President of the NY State Steelers; George Shacher who plays pedal steel, lead guitar, and violin & is a seven time winner of the Northeast Country Music Association's best of the year; Joe Gero who plays steel, electric bass and guitar and is the past president of the Northeast Country Music Association;
Lance McIntosh who a drummer, electric bass and stand up bass player and also is starting on the pedal steel; Linda McIntosh who is tops as a country singer; John Widgren top-notch steeler who made in in from Connecticut; and on the far end is one of the areas best known musicians Larry Edwards who plays and teaches PSG, telecaster, dobro, banjo, mandolin (all left handed). The above group are all masters of their trade.
Makes me wish I had taken up the steel about sixty years earlier than I did.

Please bring on some more photos. There are a lot of familiar names on that show. I still think of John Kalament every July 4th when the fireworks are lighting up the sky. This guy makes those things.
