I'm not a local player in that area, but I support steel guitar everywhere, So I'm going to fly up to Campbellsville KY. and lend my support to this great little club. Don't know what I'll be abel to do but I have a weekend off and what better way to spend it than helping to push steel guitar. Besides, I have many friends in this area and I'm going to love to see them.
Now, which one of you guys is going to pick me up at the airport at 12:00 noon???
Beck?

To address some e's about the event:
I'm not involved in putting on or organizing this deal. Just posting the announcements for the guys so:
Admission: In the past, they have accepted donations at the door to help offset the rent and expenses incurred in the planning. The players are donating their time.
Campbellsville is just 85 or so miles souheast of Louisville, east of I-65 Converging roads are US 68, Ky 55, 210, 70.
Bobbe, I replied to your email and I'll make arrangements for someone to get you at the airport. Thanks for your support.
I'm sure Audie will appreciate it too.

Thanks to Audie and all the players for a great afternoon of good steel guitar music.

It was nice to visit with old friends and meet some new ones, also a good visit and "BS" session with my old pal Bobbe Seymour.

Thanks Audie for the invite to play your next show, I'm looking forward to it.

Wonderful show, folks, music, band, food, a beautiful part of the world, hospitality incredible, a special thanks to Marilyn, Beck Collins, Audie, Sue, Nikki, the great band, great players and audience.

I had storms going up at 3000' altitude,(MSL), worse storms going back, but it was well worth the effort.
Now, why was the stupid airport closed on a Sunday afternoon? Next time I'm landing on the road in front of the Civic Center! No kidding!
Friends, please be there next year, but stay away from the airport, it won't be open!

Captain "fence jumper" Bob,

(bobbe)
