Hello, I try to check out all of your posts and topics. All are helpful but the one that I liked the best was how to play rythm parts on a steel. I play in a 5 piece, Im on steel and electric, 2 other guitar players.
With 3 guitars, you really have to hear whats going on and make your part fit or else its a 'strum-fest'.
I play with a thumb pick/fingers. If you think of your parts as the 'steelparts' it doesnt work as well as just thinkin them guitar parts. Pick it, strum it just think outside the box.
Also, thanks for all of the help you have all given to ALL of us whether you knew it or not. Very Happy
Here is a show from a couple weeks ago. Enjoy.
