Wondering if there are any other steel players out there coming to Austin next week, or any already in town? My band Bell Gardens are playing a whole bunch of gigs:
3/16 @ Central Presbyterian Church
3/17 @ Beauty Bar/Palm Door
3/18 @ Blue Starlight Drive In
3/19 @Spiderhouse / USAA

Ill be at SXSW Saturday March 19th @ Marias on S. Lamar 12:30pm.
Wont be playing PSG though. 
Im playing piano and acoustic guitar with Matt McCormack and friends.

I'm there the 17th-20th. 17th 12:30 at Jovita's, 3:30 Trophy's, 4:30 Trophy's, and 8:00 at The Soho Lounge. Fri the 18th at noon at The G&S. Sat. 5:00 at Zax and Sunday at The G&S at 7:30.
I'll be in Culver City CA at The Cinema Bar this coming Sat. the 12th. Leaving in the morning for a 5000 mile roundtripper.

I've had two calls for Friday the 18th, one daytime and the other that night. For both I quoted my 'SXSW' rate..  If I'm gonna have to deal with the mobs downtown, transportation issues, etc. I want it to be worth it.
I've probably priced myself out on both dates, but that's fine with me. LOL..

Friday at Sam's Town Point, time to be determined among multiple bands. Hosted by Ramsy Midwood.
Saturday, 2PM at Opa's Coffee and Wine Bar. Radio broadcast. We're in between Derailers and Two Tons of Steel.
Saturday, 5PM at G&S Lounge. Third Coast Music showcase.
