Fran Newman has Graciously Donated Jeff's Camouflage Pak-A-Seat to the Saluda Shrine Club. This is a very special seat that a very specal man sat on, played and taught some very special music to some very special students.
I'm sure anyone who loves the Steel Guitar and Jeff Newman would treasure this seat. However you will have to be present at the Sunday August 15th Southern Steel Guitar Convention #71 to place your bids.
This seat will be auctioned off at the Sunday August 15th Show and the proceeds will go towards the efforts of the Saluda Shrine Club for the Shriners Childrens Hospitals. No Telephone Bids Please!!
Please do not operate Cell Phones in the Saluda Shrine Club, it interferes with the Amplifiers and PA System.
Randy Beavers will be bringing this down with him in addition to Jeffs latest CD, Which will be on sale at this show.
Fran is such a Gracious lady, While in her Grief and attempting to continue the business She and Jeff built, has time to think of others, especially the Shriners Childrens Hospitals.
God Bless you and keep you strong Fran Newman and Randy Beavers too who has been a pillar of strenth and support for the Newman Family!
We Dedicated the May Show to the Memory of Jeff Newman and Plan to Continue That as a Tradition on all February Shows at Saluda.
Jeff always played the February Shows at Saluda.
Thank You Jeff & Fran for your support over the years.

As a Shriner, this is huge. Shriners operate 22 hospitals in North America, spending 2 million dollars a day helping kids. Yes folks, 2 million dollars a day.
I hope no one one forum ever has to take advantage of the Shriner Hospitals, orthopedic or the burn centers for their kids or grandkids, but we are there at no cost. Thank you Fran for the help!
