JBL D120 Help

So a friend of mine gave me a JBL D120 said that it didn't work. I plugged it in and nothing coming out of it at all. Will a recone fix this? Who does good recones on these?

Absolutely, Joe, but before taking it to the shop make certain that the wires between the binding posts and the cone are not broken, in which case fix them first to be certain that you actually need a recone job.
The replacement JBL kit is the E120 cone but not knowing where you are located makes it difficult to suggest a reconing shop - there are good folks all around the country that can do the job for you.
FYI the alnico baskets from JBL's "D" and "K" series are several pounds lighter than the newer ceramic magnet "E" series units with equivalent performance.
