I got to set in with Jayce Harold on his tour of churches. Look him up on the internet, especially the song "Hard Times". Jayce can smoke his homemade Telecaster and does the old gosple songs up in souped up old country style. You will love it. I couldn't do justice to Albert's licks from the CD, but I enjoyed every second I was on stage with Jayce and his young sons and daughter.(They are already excellent musicians as young teens and preteens).

Thanks Danny for the kind words.

Had a great time today downtown, although parking was a challenge. Yes, Jayc is fun to work with as his "Honkey Tonk Gospel" music as he calls it is a natural for the steel guitar. His Kid are getting really good, especially his oldest on drums. He is pretty fast! I also had a chance to go upstairs and see the Sho-Bud area and all the photos of some of the great steel players. Priceless.

Blessings, Albert

I had the privilege of picking the ole Emmons push pull on a set with Jayc this weekend here in FL. It was a blast. If Jayc comes your way, give him a visit. He will be in Orlando next weekend. You will be glad you did. Great guy! Good music!

BTW, Albert's a tuff act to follow. His styling on Jayc's CD, In the Sweet By And By is absolutely second to none. And Bruce Bouton tears it up on Jayc's CD, Hard Times. It doesn't get any better than these.

This is an old post that was brought up from last October. Thanks for the comments though.
