Anyone have experience with this delay unit? I could pick one up locally for cheap ($50). Just not sure if it would be a worthwhile move. Any comments or opinions would be welcomed. |

I had a DM1000 (bought in the 80's) and in the KC band I was in we had a DM2000 in the PA system rack. They were nice digital delay units, but if anything goes wrong it's very unlikely you will find anyone to fix it. |

Hi Paul, I bought 2 DMD2000's in 82, and they are fantastic.
Back in my playing days, I used one with 2 Session 500 amps.
The DMD2000 is a stereo version and has a very clean sound.
I had to replace the original batteries in them last year,
I sold one to a friend last month, and he really loves it.
The other one I still use ocassionally in my studio. After 29
years, they both work and sound as good as they did when new.

I too had the DM1000 years ago. They are a great sounding delay. I think the 1100 is configured for stereo, not sure of the other differences. |
