It's the 3rd Sunday again, which means time for another "Blazing Steels" evening at the Crepe Place in Santa Cruz (located on Soquel Drive).
As usual I'll be playing with Amee Chapman and her band, and then the evening will finish to the music of the "Roots 66" band, featuring bay area PSG player (and fellow forumite) Steve Epstein!
This ought to be one for the books folks, and I'm really looking forward to hearing Steve play!
If you drop in, stop by and say "Howdy!". Music starts at 7:00. _________________ Dave Wren

Hi Jack... oh yes, Phoenix was a ball... counting the days 'till next year already! I made so many new friends over the 3 days (4 counting the Justice Jam on Sunday)!
You're right about Santa Cruz being a great area... I always look forward to my gigs with Amee there.. there's a real nice group of local musicians I've met already.. and each trip I meet a few more!!!

Stu, you would have loved this gig!
Steve (my newest friend ) and his band Roots 66 were so aewsome! Started with a Desert Rose tune... roped me in 3 part harmonies, great steel and lead guitar riffs.... what's not to like? Oh yeah the bass and drums were working just great together!
Best of all is seeing the same faces in the crowd each month... it's so good to see folks that love steel guitar.
Now I rest up for next month _________________ Dave Wren
