I know that most steels that have the Franklin pedal have it as pedal 1, or pedal 4. Does anyone out there use that move on another pedal, or lever? I was wondering about the vertical lever. It seems like it would be good because of the relationship between pedal 1 and 2. It seems like the travel distance may be an issue, unless it was engineered properly. _________________ Zum Encore, Zum Stage One, Fender 2000, Harlan Bros., Multi-Kord, |

I have the B to A lower (both strings) on pedal 1 and the G# to F# lower (both strings) on RKL. For me the vertical lever works best for a B to Bb lower and B to C split with the B to C# pedal (2). |

I was researching the same possibility....preferably putting the 'Franklin Pulls' on a knee lever. Opting for the easiest way to incorporate it; I finally decided to put these pulls on my 4th pedal. But here is one option.
Here is a link to Billy Phelps website:

It appears that he has inner & outer LKLs with the 'Franklin' on the outer lever.....Es raising to F on the inner lever.
I really don't see any reason that these pulls wouln't work on a vertical pedal. Sometimes we just have to go with the trial & error' method to see if something is possible. _________________ Sho-Bud D-10,8X5, Sho-Bud S-10,3X4, Mullen D-10 Pre-RP,8X7,OMI Dobro, Fender Twin Reverb, Peavey N-400, Teles & Strats |
