Thanks for posting that.Good song. What an impressive listing of players, especially that Bovine guy.
What is funny is that the group is called White Horse, but the album cover has a white cow on it. _________________ Regards, Craig

Nice find, I know this record.
White Horse - White Horse (Capitol ST-11687)
Capitol Records, 1977
1 - It Doesn't Take Much
2 - Give It Up
3 - Over And Done With
4 - Love In A Mist
5 - Lost And In Trouble
6 - Can't Stop Loving You (Though I Try)
7 - Through Thick And Thin
8 - Without Your Love
9 - Everloving Arms
10 - Take Me Back
White Horse : Kenny Altman (Bass & Vocals), Jon Lind (Guitars & Vocals) & Billy Nicholls (Piano & Vocals)
Producers : Kenny Altman, Jon Lind & Billy Nicholls
Additional musicians : Paul Barrere, Chuck Domanico, Bob Glaub, Milt Holland, Reggie Knighton, Russ Kunkel, Doug Livingston, Gary Mallaber, David Paich, Bill Payne, Jeff Porcaro, Joe Porcaro, Caleb Quaye & Fred Tackett
Apparently Billy Nicholls remastered the LP masters for CD in 2000. I think that might have been a Japanese only release.
Billy was the English cat who cut his debut LP for Immediate Records in 1968 with help from labelmates The Small Faces, one of my all-time fave Brit bands! _________________ Reintarnation: Coming back to life as a hillbilly. |

Graig, I've had the record for some time and I never noticed the white cow on the cover!
Jason, and Jon Lind and Kenny Altman came from the Fifth Avenue Band who made one very good record in the late sixties. |

Thanks Joachim, I have a copy of the Fifth Avenue Band LP, it's a decent set.
Had a fresh listen to Billy's 1968 Immediate label LP, as good as I recalled.
I've ordered a CD version of the White Horse LP from Billy Nicholls website. I'll letcha know what I think.
