We have learned there will be road construction affecting HWY 11, next to the Radisson Inn Tulsa Airport during convention time.
However, this will not stop the show, an easier access route will be: exiting from I-44 or 244 simply exit onto Memorial Drive heading north. This will take you to the front door of the hotel without the hassle of the road "destruction". Have a safe trip and the hotel staff tells us its "fillin up".

Just wanted to remind you boys and girls out there in steel guitar land that two days from now, Friday the 28th, it all gets underway in T town...(that's Tulsa, for those of you in Rio Linda)...at the Airport Radisson...the annual Oklahoma Steel Guitar Association, capably headed up by Don Compston and one of my hero's Big John Buffington. These boys work real hard and put on one of the greatest shows in the nation. Nashville will be well represented..(Mr. Hughey etc.) as will Texas...all the J's will be here..i.e. Jody, Junior, Janet, Johnny, Joan, Jayne, and Jouie(maybe that's Wayne and Louie..got a little carried away). Seriously folks, don't miss this one..an excellent facility, good food, a swap shop, what else could one ask for. Sat nite the Country Classics have one hour...that's Mr Buffington and all the regulars plus Dewayne Bowman..come enjoy the fun.

Yes sir Larry (one of my favorite singers)- it's but a few hours away, and we're getting anxious to see everyone - kinda like a "Family Reunion".
Come join in the fun!
Just got a call and Del and Dixie Mullen are headin' this way with some goodies!!!!!! Can't wait.

The boys at "OSGA" know how to do it and it's one of the greatest & best organized show's I know. Don't miss this one and believe me when I say you will have a wonderful time and not only the music itself, but also the fellowship.
See ya there.....
