Drawbacks
1. Screw pieces for extending back legs are stripped.
For the legs, I fixed the legs with wooden dials that keep guitar level. Probably not the best for the long run. but guitar is still level after many months of use.
2. Two holes were drilled through guitar cavity to mount a pickup on E9 neck.
Advantages
Guitar Cavity is deep allowing for most wide mount pickup styles and some narrow mounts.

Great steel guitar. With regard to selling, looking to buy regular keyhead guitar.
Good steel guitar for someone just starting out or is looking for a less expensive guitar with two necks. Additional pulls can be bought through Beck Musical Instruments.
I am including a George L E66 pickup with the purchase of the guitar.

I'd like to see a few more pic's: undercarriage and the holes drilled for the pickup. More explaination, too, on the stripped leg threads: are they at the bottom (opposite the guitar body) end or the holes for attaching the legs to the body?
Thanks in advance!

Here is a picture of the holes that were drilled through
Here is a picture of the undercarriage of the guitar
The stripped leg threads are at the opposite end of the body. They in no way effect the tightening of the legs to the body itself or the body threads. These are the threads that adjust the height of the legs.
These affect the rear legs of the steel guitar. I have not had difficulty with the front legs as they were not needed for me to adjust. |

What part of Arkansas are you in. I hope you sell it right away but if you still have it in a couple of weeks I'd like to talk to you about buying it. I am in TN now but I will be in Russellville the 18th.

Rick,
This guitar is not new. I can't remember if it was made either 70's or 80's. I am not to sure.
Gary,
I live just outside of Magnolia, Arkansas. I will happy to discuss it with you if it is still available at that time. However, I did not mention that I would ship it to any that are interested. I accept PayPal and money order if you'd like to go that route and have it shipped to you. |
