Hi there friends. I just wanted to put in a small clip from a gig from yesterday. I do some playing with Karin and Rickard in small mission houses and chapels now and then. This is without any rehearsal and I just love it. I did not even know what song what was comming up, Rickars says in the beginning "Gustav" and that is meant the song was in the Key of G. Hahaha. In fact we had never played this son together before. People now and then say that the GFI sound so bright in tone and that it could poke holes in your ears? I just love the tone I get from my GFI and there is nothing between the steel and the Peavey 112 amp! I like my tone!
listen and see the song here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EI_CKCuyLJw

Uffe,
In T minus 2 more business days, I will experince this euphoric tonal bliss you are refering. Smile
I have a brand new GFI S-10P from Al Brisco in the mail. I love the thick mid range and back shivering highs these guitars have. I love the full mellow sound of the GFI II pickups, . I totally agree with you, the more effects you add in line, the more compressed and thin youre tone gets. They sound great with just a NV 112!! Please keep posting you re youtube clips with us. I'll put some up too when I het my new GFI.
