He's got that two-pickup thing too. And, if he's serious as he appears to be to about posting instruction, we may very well be seeing a $600 RR PSG in the Guitar Centers, too. Better bar the stockage, cowboy.... the kids is comin'. |

Just for once I would like to hear R.R. without the digital "help" that seems to be on everything that he does. Forget the fuzz tones, echoes, etc. etc., just a bit of digital delay & reverb would be a good start. |

Get the "Sacred Steel" DVD on Arhoolie and you'll hear a young Randolph play some lightning fast solos with a totally clean tone. You can see a photo of him up in the upper right corner on the cover:
