Come hear Rick Schmidt on PSG with the California Rangers. This Sat., Feb 5th at the Beach Club.
1903 South Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA
time: 4:30 to 8:30PM

A great day to spend. Jim's steel shop first and then over to the Beach Club to hear some fine honky tonk country music.

On top of all of that, the surf will be good on Sat. So it's a good time to be in Oceanside. The CA Rangers are a delight to hear.

Thanks for the free advertising Tom! I'll try to get the sea water out of my ears by downbeat. Looking forward to getting to play with my honky tonk pals again.....and the big surf! Whoa!

By the way folks, Tom has a cool weekly gig himself every Monday night at the "Bar Leucadian" in Leucadia CA. with his cool band "Three Chord Justice" Great name for a great band BTW!

I can't think of a way to have a more enjoyable day and evening than to visit "Steel Guitars of North County", then go listen to my good friend and excellent steel player/musician Rick that evening.

If I lived anywhere in that part of the country, after my visit at Jim's steel guitar "Disney World for steel players", I would spend the evening on the front row listening to Rick.

That should be a good time. Rick you did a great job at the Phoenix show as did the entire "West Coast" contingent. I plan on making a few trips over there this summer so keep us all posted where you'll be playing.

I cant wait. 4:30 to 8:30. I'll be there with the wife.
Its in Oceanside the pedal steel capital of Southern California. I love North County PSG store in Oceanside.

Yep. I was there and it was good. Rick knocked my socks off, on both necks, too. This is a great band with superb vocals- all of 'em.
So when is the next Rangers gig?

Hey Tom...thanks to you and everybody for coming to my gig last night! It was fun. All you steel players made me sufficiently nervous.

I'll be at the "other" beach club in a couple weeks:

02/18 - 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Larry's Beach Club - 760.439.6646
(Formerly McCabes)
1145 South Tremont Street
Oceanside, CA 92054-5136

Then we'll be back at "The Beach Club" (confused yet?)

02/26 - 4:30 - 8:30 p.m.
03/05 - 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
03/12 - 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
04/02 - 4:30 - 8:30 p.m.
04/30 - 4:30 - 8:30 p.m
