The next Southeast Texas Steel Guitar Club meeting in Katy, TX will be Sunday, February 6, at 2:30 p.m. The building will be open for setup at 2:00 p.m. We will meet at the Life Church, located at 2610 Greenbusch Rd (also called Westheimer) in Katy, TX.
Featured player: Dale Thomas. Dale is an excellent steel guitar player with his own band in Iowa. He plays a variety of music from country, western swing, and pop.
WE want more steel players to be featured. If you have 2-3 prepared songs we can arrange for a short featured spot. Just let us know.
Directions to the Life Church: From I-10West.
Take the exit for Pin Oak Rd(Katy Mills Mall exit 740). take Pin Oak Rd south. Pin Oak Rd will turn into Greenbusch Rd. Take Greenbusch Rd to the Life Church.
Park in the main parking lot & enter the church through the front door since we now have a mobie classroom at the back.
PS: No smoking on church property.

| Jim, I hope you have a good turn out for the club meeting. Wish I could be there but am playing that day. I just got back from the Phoenix Show which has turned out to be one of the best around. Hope to see everyone in Katy before too long. Best wishes for a great afternoon of picking. |

Dale Thomas puts on a great show. I like to see him do the Travis picking on C6. I talked with Bobby Bowman and he thinks he can make it, so you'all come.
