Their is not an Association in Indy that i know of,if you contact my buddy Tommy Minniear in Logansport he might know of something around there.Best regards.

Richard, the only two I know of are the:
Indy Steel Club, c/o Sharon Denny: golddust8@juno.com
and:
Indianapolis Gospel Steel Club, c/o Doug Rolfe: dougrolfe@tds.net
Both just had a big show, Scotty and I played the Indy club with John Hughey just last month.
Indy's always been a big steel town.
Hope this helps,
Don |

Tommy brought Bobbe Seymour up to Columbia City not too long ago, and has had other ideas for things to do, including simple steel jam sessions.
Also, Gary Martin and Mike "Whip" Lashaway have been doing some things at a church in Fort Wayne, hoping to start something with people from both Ohio and Indiana. Not only have I been to a jam session they had, but Doug Jernigan came through once as well.

Thanks for the info, I'll see if I can contact some of these folks. Wish I had known about the Seymour thing, the guy is amazing. |
