HELLO, EVERYONE ,AGAIN!!!.WOULD ANY ONE KNOW WHAT SELECTOR SWITCH I CAN USE ON THE ABOVE WOULD A 3WAY STRAT, TELE,SWITCH BE OK.

Hi,ihave fitted a new 3 way selector switch from tele/strat cannot get second neck to burst into life, is there a rightway or wrong way to wire up these switches.

just wondering if any you guys can help finally getting somewhere with the double six,when you grasp the control plate or touch it horrible hum appears?? could that be an earth problem.?? or ground ??

It sounds like you have the hot and the ground reversed on at least one neck. Kinda like touching a guitar cords tip when it is plugged into an amp.

Your issue might be at the output jack. I've wired them backwards myself when distracted.

Have you solved your problems yet Michael ?
I think that on a stringmaster it would be almost impossible to get the polarity wrong, because of the way the pickups are wired. You do have a copy of the Stringmaster wiring protocols don't you ?
