A couple of months ago I traded my Marlen S-12 for an MSA which was supposed to have 8 floor pedals and 5 knee levers. Three of the floor pedals were removed from the guitar and the guy assured me that he had all the parts but so far he's been unable to find the "box" that they're supposed to be in so he's given me some cash compensation.

The guitar does however have five & five so I've pretty much decided to set it up as a B6th 12 string guitar as that'd relate more to E9 and the E9/B6 guitar that I usually play. For the basic tuning I'm going to go with this high to low: C# G# F# D# B G# F# D# B G# E B........

So far I've decided to put the D# to E raises on strings 4 and 8 on the RKR and also raise the first string C# to D# along with it.........

The first two floor pedals will be the standard E9 A and B pedals...

pedal 3 will raise the 5th string B to C# and the 6th string G# to A#...

pedal 4 will lower the 7th string F# to F and raise the 11th string E to F and the 12th string B to C#...

pedal 5 (boo-wah) will raise the 9th string B to C and lower the 11th string E to D# and the 12th string B to G# (Ab)...

I'm thinking of having my normal IV7 pedal that would give me an E7th on the RKL so that would raise the 4th string D# to E and lower the 8th string D# to D. I might also raise the 1st string C# to D along with those other two.......

I'll be lowering my 5th string B to A# on either the LKV or LKR, I haven't decided yet. Has anyone got any suggestions as to which spot would be better and also uses for the other two knee levers. I'm actually leaning on having the B to A# change on the verticle as that's where I have it on my E9/B6 guitar.....Thanks for any input.....JH in Va.
