Need assistance. Just "Inherited" an Eddie Alkire 10 string lap steel guitar. I'd like to make use of it if I can. My left wrist is shot and I thought I could try and start working on slide since I can't play my 6 string well anymore. Any advice from you folks would be well appreciated as to how to proceed on a new path here. String sets tunings, everything and anything. Used to play 60s and 70s rock and blues of many types.

GEORGE

PS First hoping to do a sitar conversion I have left from my 6string days. Oh, and I DO NOT like the guitar's cheapo bridge-Recommendations for a change?
