Had an opportunity to meet Mike along with some other fine players at the Alabama Steel Show last fall in Montgomery. All the players there were a class act and upstanding people. Mike as well as many others took the time to explain and talk to a new-be. All the players there left a big impression.

Mike's a great guy and a monster player. You want a challenge, work for someone who use's Mike in the studio and have to copy the lad! It will make you lose sleep trying to come close.

Howdy Finbarr,

I noticed we share something in common. I live in Minnesota. I think we might be related. My cousin is Joe O'Shea and my uncle is Pat O'Sullivan (Coomerkane) both gone now for about ten years God rest their souls. My mom and dad grew up in Listowel Co. Kerry. Can you trace the relation? I guess steel runs in our bloodline. I'll look you up next time I'm in Ireland.

Wow,

Paul O

Mike is one of the best players and nicest guys you will ever meet. He and his wife Joanie are two of the best. I highly recommend both Mike and Joanie's cd's....mikejohnsonproductions.com.....probably score you a couple of copies there. Or maybe b0b has them in the cd's and tapes section here.
