Hi Chippy,
that are very sad news.
I hope that your hand-foot coordination will come back over time. You could probably try to develop a technic that takes that (tempory) handicap into consideration. Or play the steel guitar completly without pedals for a while. There is so much fine music in pedalless steel guitars. Don't sell them all, keep at least one...
