About a "camp" in Texas.

Why are these always West of the Mississippi?

How about one around Concord, NH -- it's New England Central for sure? (I'm in Northwestern Vermont, so I'm not asking for one in my back yard! lol)

Clair,

Check out Western and Swing Week at Ashokan Fiddle and Dance Camps in Ashokan, NY (near Woodstock.) This year it is June 26 to July 2, but they have not announced the itinerary. Last year Gerald Ross (an active member of the forum) taught Lap Steel and Dobro.

Rich - thanks -- gives me hope.

If I'm teaching summer, I could afford probably half of it, but if I'm teaching summer I couldn't go! lol

At least I know there's some life in the near east!

Clair D....We would love to have you visit Teresa and I at one of our camps. This March we have another lady who's attending from Maine. There are also those coming here from a lot further that the east coast. A man is coming here from England and another from Denmark.

George P.....I want to sincerely thank you for your very kind words, but more importantly, for being my friend. I'm looking forward to seeing you in the non-pedal room at the TSGA in March.

Thanks to all you westerners for the "invites" but I can't afford to go anywhere I can't drive to and even that is iffy given my 11-year-old Chevy! -- which of course is why I asked the question I did!
