I am shocked by this news.
Everytime I seen him, he was always so vibrant, jolly and friendly. Don't remember seeing him when he wasn't smiling.
I had the pleasure to meet him at a steel guitar seminar in Nebraska. After that, everytime we saw each other, he treated me like an old friend.
My condolences! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

After conversing with him many times on the Christian Steel Forum, I had the pleasure of finally meeting Pat in 2005 at the Dallas steel show. He was a true gentleman and it was a privilege to say that I knew him, even if it was remotely via the internet.
My condolences to his family.
