A question on my C6th 5 pedal

I have an issue with my 5th pedal on the C6th neck, the pedal will go down but will not return back to position, what can I check for to fix it, it is a Desert Rose steel guitar, I do not see anything broken or hanging it up, would like some advise on how to fix it, seems it is binding somewhere.
