I'm selling my 1968 Fender Telecaster. I bought this guitar in 1977 from Tommy Lee( Ampeg/Bullfrog Metro NY/NJ Rep)Tommy had taken this 1968 Tele, hogged out and installed a then-new Fender humbucking pu and repainted the guitar black.I later swapped bridge and tuners for aftermarket parts and swapped the neck for my 1967 neck....this guitar is in very good condition and I have the original tuners included! With original Fender case.. Serial # 223456..I found Guitar book price for 1969 Tele:
Mint $7,000
Exc.+ $5,500
Exc. $4,500
Avg.+ $3,800
Avg. $3,200
General $2,700....$1800 for this guitar so I can buy a D-10..or make offer!

So the neck is a 67, Do you still have original bridge saddles and plate? Do you have a picture of the route? Any pots replaced? What was it refinished with poly? or nitro?
Thanks.
