Bill Anderson's steel player is definitely Pat Severs. In the early nineties, Pat was playin' steel with the Pirates of the Mississippi. He played Emmons guitars for the longest time and now plays a ShowPro. He played a GFI in the house band on the Nashville Star show. In the eighties, Pat worked with Nat Stuckey and Eddie Rabbitt.

Jim, Donna Hammitt Blanton had left the band to be a nurse. Then Eddie Lange and Mike Toppins played steel for Bill, and now it's Pat Severs.
