Anyone wanting to join the push-pull club can bid on this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290517620552&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
I emailed the seller asking what the serial number is and his response was "4".
Obviously not in original condition as it has 4 knee levers......but it has wraparound necks. _________________ Cremation is my last shot at having a hot body......

Looks funny with the logo at the wrong end, doesn't it? _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles, Martins, and a Gibson Super 400!

He says he did the cabinet work, so the cabinet (or at least the finish) isn't original. Cool guitar anyway. _________________ www.pedalsteel.ca |

I don't think 4 levers is original either......bolt on't in '66 came with 2......think I read somewhere that wraparounds had none out of the factory. _________________ Cremation is my last shot at having a hot body...... |

and being sold by a seller with 0 feedback. And the pedals look a bit odd compared to my 2 push/pulls. |

The earlier push/pulls had different pedals. Those look original. _________________ www.pedalsteel.ca |

There is something definitely wrong with the inlay.
If you look at the pictures, there is inlay on the TOP of the guitar. Whatever cabinet work the seller did on the guitar did NOTHING to enhance its value! |

The last time I bid on an instrument from a seller with 0 feedback, I got burned. I won the auction and then the seller said they'd changed their mind and decided not to sell it! I'm not saying that this would happen with this one, but I'd steer clear of it! |

I feel that instrument's value is as a "parts" guitar. A new, correct cabinet should be made or an old one scoured up and the guitar re-assembled by Mike Cass.
On several of the first generation Emmonses I've owned, the serial number was stamped into the maple on the edge of the cabinet, so there wouldn't necessarily be a stamping on the endplate lip. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

Boy, that's unfortunate. I wonder what happened to the original cabinet? |
