I'm on there somewhere Tim... I logged in & tried to send you an InMail, but it's asking me to upgrade my account first. It's been so long since I've been on there that I'll have to try & figure out how it works again.

Click on the link in the original post, and you will see what it is about. Linkedin.com is a website for posting a professional resume and other professional information. Once you are registered, you can search the site for other people with interesting or useful professional qualities, and presumably link with them for information or services. |

A buddy invited me, I did it...and have no idea what it's for, since I've gotten/heard nothing since. _________________ No chops, but great tone

Linked In is a networking site not unlike Myspace or Facebook. Those two are 'social' networking sites, Linked In is a business/professional networking site often useful for finding individuals in specific industrys or companies.
I have been on LI for several years and have found it very useful, but it doesn't strike me as being a particularly useful tool for musicians.

It is easy to play the steel guitar. Playing so that the audience finds it pleasing is the difficult act. |

After being on there for a few years, I'm finally starting to understand how I can use it to bring in a little (non-music) work. I'm glad I stuck with it. |
