I was driving my van yesterday here in Ft Lauderdale, Florida when I accidentally hit the wrong AM radio program button ( I wanted to listen to my hero, Glen Beck). What I heard next blew my hair off my head. Traditional, Classic Country music coming from the van's speakers. I thought what the heck is going on, could it really be Traditional C&W music is coming back on radio, I'm talking Ray Price, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, Conway, Connie Smith, all the old timers, lots of pedal steel & that pure country 4/4 beat. Sorry Glen guess you got to go, all my home & car radios are now set to only, WFLL, 1400 AM. Now all we need in the land of sunshine is a country music night club & some real country bands, not the kids stuff, rockin metal hip hop country. How on earth did Kid Rock get into country music, guess what, he's not on WFLL, nor will he ever be heard.

What way to end the year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.

Bill, try this station, you'll like it, they do play stuff from the 80's & 90's but it beats WKISS-99. I never listen to 99 any more, most of the times while driving I listen to a cassette (Honda Van) or a CD (Honda-Accord), all the old stuff & tons of pedal steel music, once in awhile it will be Doo-Wop, 50's, pop, even the 40's but never the new country. I'm into the traditional country that is coming out of Texas, Bobby Flores, Amber Digby, Justine Trevino, Jake Hooker, Darrell & Mona McCall, in fact I'm going to try & make contact with this radio station and see if they would play these artist, this stuff is hardcore true traditional classic country, ton, tons of pedal steel & fiddle.
