A friend of mine, Marshall Hall, is not yet a Forum member. He is attempting to locate a fellow who called him recently about Marshall's guitar. All he remembers is that the person's last name was Thompson. If _______ Thompson reads this, please contact Marshall again at his e-mail address: marshtake@aol.com

Yes, that's the guy. I got to know Marshall in the early 90's, and he has become a wonderful friend. He spoiled me by sending me some instruction that he wrote many years ago, and also sent me a tape of some really interesting things he did on steel guitar that he never published. One piece was a carnival-type waltz that was awesome. He did the whole arrangement on his U-12 guitar. I'll always cherish him and his music!

Marshall and I used to exchange tapes back in the 70's. He was using an MSA 12 string
at the time and lived and played in Miami,Fl.
I lost track of him as the years drifted by
and am glad to hear that he is is still active.

Just for the record I was not the person in Tom Bradshaw's post above trying to contact Marshall.

I hope he joins the Forum as he will have
much to offer.
