Paul I have written a song about leaving out the steel guitar in country music.
Key C
Verse 1
(C)You don't have a thing
If(D) you don't have the twang
Of(G) steel guitar playing in your (C) song
(C)It will be all wrong
And (D) country don't belong
If (G) steel is not playing in your (C) song
Chorus
(F) I'll not leave this town
I'll (C) just keep hanging round
If (D) you play country loud and (G) clear
You (C) don't have a thing
If (D) you don't have the twang
Of (G) steel guitar playing in your song
verse 2
I've heard it said before
In the days of ore
That country music can't be beat
I will keep my seat
As long as you keep
A steel guitar playing in your song
Tag
If Franklin don't belong
In your country song
It's a song I don't want to hear
Paul we are recording this 21 st of this month with Jack Daugherty playing steel,
Sun country wants a copy to do it on their show at Suwannee Music Park.
So we are doing a demo video.
It is a swing or Shuffle, the ones that have heard it say it sounds good.
I wish to use your name in the tag, as representing the best of steel guitar players, if they are not wanted I do not wish to hear the song.
This song is for any one that wishes to use it. How about that for (copy right)
ernie
Videos will be for any one that would like a copy. $3.00 + s&h
I could have used any one of a hundred names in tag, I looks like Paul is out in front right now, carry the banner Paul.
