Just wanted to put in a word for Laney's album. If you don't have it you need to get it! Russ is really tearing up that steel, especially on I'll come running to you" He is really doing some hot picking. I told Allen he has got to learn to do that! Great album Laney & Russ. If one didn't know it was you they would certainly think that the legendary Connie Smith was singing. You and Russ are fantastic!

Russ I really liked the break you did in Atlanta on I Come running ==after you broke the string, you should do that more often.

When Connie came out with that song, she did a tour with Ray Price and Russ was her road steeler and he did a super job on that. We were all a whole lot younger then but he still had it then.
