I remember this performance very well and I've been looking for my VHS tape of it for a year. One of Tony's greatest performances and one of the greatest performances I've ever seen on the Grammys. His ending is a thing of beauty. This one brings tears to my eyes.

Saw him many times. With Sarah Vaughn and Ella, Buddy Rich. This is REAL talent. Not like the manufactured crap that we have today. The ability to move souls. It makes me sick what I see out there today compared to this. |
