I have a 2008 Derby D-10 that I have a minor issue on tuning the E - D# lowers on LKR (both strings 4 and 8 ), and the G# - F# lower on RKL. The lowering tuner bottoms out at a point that is slightly sharp in all cases. I have slackened the tuners and retuned as often resolves this issue, but to no avail. What other adjustments might I make to resolve this? |

Check the split tuners at the right end of the neck. Make sure the finger is not bottoming out there. The changer can't go any further than this screw will allow. You may need to back them off to allow more finger travel. |

Thanks, Jerry. I thought that might be the case as I was looking at it this morning. |

You Welcome Bart. Happy pickin'. JIC you aren't aware of it, here's a link to some info on the split tuning feature which you can use to accurately tune any raise/lower combo on your guitar [such as the 6th string lower to G# to F# and B pedal 6th raise to A engaged at the same time.] You may find it handy for future reference.
