Would you mind using this -- Kid Rock plays dobro? -- for your subject line instead? "????" as a subject line does not tell us what the thread is about.

Do you have any links to an article that states that Kid Rock plays a dobro, or a youtube link or did you read it liner notes, etc.

Don, you have to give us more than a subject of "????" and a message of "Kid Rock plays dobro?" to get us to have a meaningful conversation.

Something along the lines of "I saw Kid Rock playing a dobro. Anyone else see that?" with a link to a YouTube video would be much more of a starter.

Give us a link or something, PLEASE.

????

DOES HE??? I never knew that. I can't picture it. I can't picture him doing more than spitting rhymes, wearing a wife-beater and drinking Jack.

Any links? I need to see it to believe it!

Smith Curry was playing Dobro with Kid Rocks' band.
I doubt that KR plays any reso. Heck, I have a hard time with his whole "Kid Rock is country" thing.

If he does play Dobro, then there goes 10 good years of bad mouthin' the kid right down the toilet... and a whole bunch more to come.

Kid Rock plays lap steel on a number of his recordings, apparently using a vintage instrument given to him by Hank Williams, Jr. At some point, I saw a video of him playing lap steel during the recording of "Picture," his top 40 duet with Sheryl Crow.

Why apologize? A question is a question! Either click on and answer it, if possible, or just move on! Jay Y.
