This is the first time anyone, other than my immdeiate family, has heard me play steel guitar.
I've seen others post their playing on here, so I thought I would, too. I'm extremely new to this, so I would appreciate any critiques, criticisms or helpful tips. I don't know of any non-pedal players locally that I can get together with, so Forumite input is greatly appreciated.
The rhythm guitar is my old Telecaster, set on the neck pickup. The steel part is the 6 string Morrell you see in my avatar pic (my ebay Melobar hasn't arrived yet). It's played through my pawn shop Roland Micro Cube amp. Tuning is Leavitt.
Thanks to Mike Ihde for offering this free TAB to help get me started. I know I didn't adhere strictly to the TAB, but I'm just learning.

Good job... keep practicing.
I can tell that you have an "good ear" for pitch, and the more you play, the more accurate your intonation will become. It's more like singing in that way, because there are no fixed "stops" only fret markers, your ear is the real instrument.

Thanks for the reply, Dom. With the hours I work, I don't get to practice as much as I'd like, but I try to practice at least 30 minutes a day. It's been great fun.
In the last week, I've won a Melobar 6 string and a Canopus 8 string on Ebay. They should arrive one day next week. Having some better quality gear will probably make me eager to practice more often.

Thanks for the kind words & encouragements, guys.
BTW, Doug -- I had been toying with the idea of getting into steel guitar for a while, though I couldn't afford a PSG. What finally pushed me over the edge and made me buy a lap steel was a video I saw on Youtube of a guy playing "Send Me The Pillow You Dream On" on a Rogue Jersey Lightning. 
I had no idea a lap steel could sound THAT GOOD. I remember thinking that if an inexpensive 6 string lap steel can sound THAT GOOD,, I'd go ahead and take the plunge and try it.

Steve,
Not bad at all my friend. My only helpful hint would be to try to let the chords ring longer before moving to the next one. I know that's one of the hard parts but you should try to limit the dead air spaces between each string group.
Try singing along as you play and don't shut off the chord until the next word comes out.
