You can get a look at Wayne taking a ride on "Smoke, Smoke, Smoke That Cigarette" here, toward the end of the clip, after Bob Wills and Bobby Koefer.

Ignore the moronic narration about "country swing" and "pedal steel".

I think that is Dickie Phillips playing the standard guitar on his lap, next to Wayne.

That is Dickie Philipps playing his Lap Standard Guitar. I worked a Casual with him and he also plays a great fiddle sitting on his lap the same way. He sat crossed legged on a table on that gig.
