I have just completed a package for Speedy West's "Steelin' Moonlight", surely one of his classics, for non-pedal A6 tuning. This can be played on 6 or 8 string as strings 7 and 8 aren't used.

In the package you'll get my transcription as pdf a file, a Tabledit file (which includes MIDI playback), as well a a short video which will give you a visual on right hand as well as bar movement, and a backing track. This package is only $4.95. That's a heck of a deal!

Here is a link to purchase the package and listen to an mp3 of the song:

I also have similar packages available for Tom Brumley's "Seven Come Eleven" and Buddy Emmons' "Four Wheel Drive".

Thanks for looking.

That is indeed a heck of a deal. I got mine! Now all I need is the Clinesmith to go along with it! Smile

Thanks for doing this, Mike. Any chance I can get to learn Speedy West or Joaquin Murphey tunes, I'm there.

Thanks for the support, everyone. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback.

I am rendering a video in another format, as I had one person who does not have Quicktime, so I am creating an mpg video.

Mike -- I'd like to get the other format as well. I have the free quicktime on my PC and it won't play it.

Thanks,
Bill

Beginning tomorrow, all packages downloaded will contain both .mov and .mpg files. If you are on a MAC and don't need the .mpg, you can just delete it.
