Does anybody know if this is a student guitar or what?
The changers axle end mounts leads me to believe this is a student model. Perhaps a "Little Buddy"?
This seems like it would be prone to some cabinet drop. Any ideas on this. It really looks clean for its age. |

Hello Curt, it is a student model, made by Emmons, possibly a student P/P. |

Yup,it's a REAL push/pull and the changer fingers are a different size than the standard E9 OR C6 P/P
I have the 8 string version. Great guitar if you want that P/P sound on a low budget.

Yep, it's an Emmons GS-10. I have one just like it but with 4 KLs. Bill |

Bill is correct, a GS-10. I have built a few and worked on many of them. They usually have no cabinet drop due to the short changer height. It is also easy to add more knee levers. In my opinion they are the best student guitar.

The name "Little Buddy" had nothing to do with the Emmons company. It was built in Michigan by the same guy that built the "Couger " steels. They are not a very playable machine. That of course is my opinion. I couldn't keep them in tune at all. |

Don't everyone throw eggs at me all at once but I often think Emmons' student models have the best push/pull sound. |

Wow. It sold for $825. Definitely on the high end for a student model.
My guess that's probably because it's an unusual white-woodgrain mica one, not the usual rosewood mica, and that it's in good condition, too. |
