Hello all,

My name is philip skarich and i am a memeber of the Deadstring Brothers. We're from detroit and we need to replace our pedal steel player. Go to our website at www.deadstringbrothers.com or http://www.timesbeachrecords.com/content/artists/dsb_main.shtml and check out the songs. If it sounds like something you'd be interestred in, drop us a line and we'll
discuss things in detail. We've been together for a couple of years and our first record came out in the US last fall on Times Beach Records. The same record was released in the UK earlier this week and, as a result, we'll be returning to the UK at the end of april for another tour…with US dates to follow, so anyone interested would need to be
available to travel quite a bit. Let us know what you think!

Pete went and changed his strings and you fired him? That's cold!

Thats a good one John! Ha, I didn't catch it either. Don't have dead strings anymore so he can't be a brother. That's funny.

I hear dead strings. They don't know that they're dead.

hey everyone!
it has come to our attention that our website links
to our song files are a bit screwy. we'll have them fixed soon enough…in the meantime, you can use the link below to hear our songs that are posted on our record company's site:
http://www.timesbeachrecords.com/content/artists/dsb_main.shtml

thanx,
phil

Be forewarned, some of their music might be termed "X-rated" and is probably not suited for our Christian members.

(Not a judgment...just a caution.)

Have you checked here yet:
http://www.onlinesteelers.com/

Also you might look up Calvin Cook in Detroit. He plays in the Sacred Steel scene and might know some young hot shot that is getting ready to give it a run.

The tracks sound good on your site.
